Dual Course Program
Exclusive Dual Program (AME+Graduation)
The world is changing quickly, therefore it's up to you to keep up by maintaining your knowledge and competence. For the next generation, Indian Aerospace & Engineering is offering an exclusive dual course program where students may choose from two distinct programs to advance their skill sets and broaden their knowledge over three to four years. Since the course's introduction, more students have chosen it as a way to stand out from the throng.
The dual degree programs that we currently offer are AME+BTech, AME+BSc, AME+BBA, and AME+BCA. The AME course is approved by the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA), the Bachelor of Technology (BTech) by the All-India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), and the degree programs are approved by the UGC under government-approved Universities, Rajiv Gandhi Prodyogiki Vishwavidyalaya & Barkatullah University.
Aircraft Maintenance Engineering is a licence-based program related to aircraft and its components where the Bachelor in Technology course deals with theoretical and practical knowledge of technology. Aspirants who want to opt for this course should have passed the qualifying examination with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as main subjects in 12th from a recognised board or university or equivalent.
Both the courses will be running parallel and on completion, the students will be eligible for a wide range of career opportunities and will be eligible to apply for every type of job available in the aviation engineering industry, either related to manufacturing or maintenance.
AME + BTech
Aircraft Maintenance Engineering is a licence-based program related to aircraft and its components where the Bachelor in Technology course deals with theoretical and practical knowledge of technology. Aspirants who want to opt for BTech Aircraft Maintenance Engineering combined course should have passed the qualifying examination with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as main subjects in 12th from a recognised board or university or equivalent.
Both the courses (AME BTech) will be running parallel and on completion, the students will be eligible for a wide range of career opportunities and will be eligible to apply for every type of job available in the aviation engineering industry, either related to manufacturing or maintenance.
It should be noted that this is not a single course as any other BTech Aircraft Maintenance Engineering colleges offer, but a program that combines the knowledge of both Aircraft Maintenance Engineering and BTech which will be greatly beneficial in one's career.
AME + BSc
Aircraft Maintenance Engineering deals with maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of the issues occurring in an aircraft on the ground. As per aviation rules, no aircraft can take off without getting approval from a licenced AME and is responsible for the safety and security of the aircraft. It is one of the best career options in the aviation industry and IAE is offering our students to do it as an integrated program (AME BSc) along with a BSc course.
Aspirants who want to opt for BSc Aircraft Maintenance Engineering course should have passed the qualifying examination with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as main subjects in 12th from a recognised board or university or equivalent.
Pursuing both courses parallelly at Indian Aerospace & Engineering than just doing a course at some BSc Aircraft Maintenance Engineering colleges opens up enhanced placement probabilities and gives you an edge in both subjects. While BSc gives you an in-depth understanding of the theoretical part, Aircraft Maintenance Engineering equips you with real-world experience as mandated by DGCA.
AME + BCA
Bachelor in Computer Application is an undergraduate program that includes complete computer operation topics, programming languages, web technologies etc. Indian Aeronautics and Engineering is offering a dual degree program in AME combined with BCA.
Aspirants who want to opt for this course should have passed the qualifying examination with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as main subjects in 12th from a recognised board or university or equivalent.
Aircraft Maintenance Engineering with BCA makes the students skilled in aircraft maintenance, a licenced AME and proficient with the technical aspects as well. This enables the candidate to get employed at prominent entities with his enhanced skillset and competency in computer application and software development.
AME + BBA
Bachelor in Business Administration equips the students with a solid foundation in aviation studies, management and related considerations. BBA along with the Aircraft Maintenance Engineering course deals with the maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of an aircraft before and after each service. It is mandated by the Directorate General of Civil Aviation that a licenced AME is the only personnel authorised to do the maintenance tasks related to an aircraft.
Aspirants who want to opt for this course (AME BBA) should have passed the qualifying examination with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as main subjects in 12th from a recognised board or university or equivalent.
Benefits of doing Dual Course Program at IAE, Mumbai
◈ Enhanced placement probability
◈ Time-saving
◈ Less expensive than doing both degrees separately
◈ Additional skillset and expertise than any normal degree
◈ World-class infrastructure and training facilities
Since the aviation sector is expanding significantly, competition is a natural phenomenon that is getting worse. Candidates who are interested in a promising career in the field should increase their chances of finding work by developing advanced management and technical abilities. A second bachelor's degree provides you with an advantage and broadens your employment options in the aviation business. The field of aircraft maintenance engineering offers a wealth of professional choices.
Once a candidate has earned an engineering degree in the area of their choosing, he or she is free to investigate all of the opportunities in the other industries where they are appropriate (that is, they can work in different organizations where electrical, mechanical, etc. are relevant). In addition to the aforementioned fact, he or she is qualified to work in any industry where AME is necessary. In other words, his or her potential for higher education and career is huge within a certain time frame.
